Emergency veterinary group VEG offers an unpaid externship for vet tech/nursing students enrolled in accredited programs, providing hands-on emergency medicine experience. Students work alongside credentialed veterinary technicians (VEG Veterinary Nurses), focusing on vital tasks like patient care, lab work, and triage. Flexible length and location options accommodate school requirements, with mentorship and a focus on creating a positive learning environment. Rabies vaccination is required, unless school policy permits handling unvaccinated animals.
