Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers a Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program for AVMA accredited vet tech/nursing students to gain hands-on emergency medicine experience. The unpaid externship focuses on honing skills such as patient care, triage, and collaboration in a customer-centric environment. Flexibility in externship length and location is provided, with mentorship from experienced veterinary technicians. Rabies vaccination is required, and applicants must be enrolled in an accredited program with externship requirements.
