Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid externship program for veterinary technology/nursing students, providing hands-on experience in emergency medicine. Students work alongside credentialed veterinary technicians (VEG Veterinary Nurses) to hone skills such as patient care, triage, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility in externship length and location is offered, with a focus on fostering a supportive and employee-centric work environment. Requirements include enrollment in an accredited program, rabies vaccination, and readiness to begin within six months of application.
