VEG offers a Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program for AVMA-accredited vet tech/nursing students seeking hands-on experience in emergency medicine. Students collaborate with credentialed veterinary technicians, focusing on emergency skills such as patient vitals, lab processing, and patient care. The unpaid externship provides flexibility in duration and location, with a requirement for rabies vaccination unless waived by the student's school's policy.
