Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program for AVMA-accredited veterinary technology/nursing students seeking hands-on experience in emergency medicine. Students collaborate with experienced Veterinary Nurses, focusing on emergency skills like patient care, triage, and lab procedures. Flexibility in externship length and location is provided, with a requirement for rabies vaccination unless exempted by school policy.
