Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers a Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program for AVMA accredited veterinary technology/nursing students, providing hands-on experience in emergency medicine alongside credentialed veterinary technicians. The externship focuses on honing emergency skills, including patient vitals, laboratory processing, patient care, and triage, in a customer-centric, employee-centric environment. Flexible in duration and location, the unpaid externship requires rabies vaccination and enrollment in a qualifying program within six months of application.

The externship is unpaid.
