Internship/Externship opportunities in various departments such as REC, FITness, Medical Records, and Nursing are available for applicants over 16 years old. Applicants should apply a full semester in advance, and the process includes an interview, orientation, TB tests, and a criminal background check. Approval typically takes 3-4 days, with the entire process lasting around 3 weeks.

Externships give students a chance to increase their skill set and prepare for a career in nursing. Externs will work in one of the world’s largest academic medical centers. They will work with physicians, allied professionals and other nurses in an environment where they can exchange ideas and increase their medical knowledge. Positions are offered as a Nursing Attendant, Nursing Companion or Summer Nurse Externship. All are part-time nursing positions for nursing students.

Students who join the Bain team are offered externship positions that allow them to jump start their career through six-month working assignments at other companies where they can pursue different career paths.
