Student Nurse Externship Summer 2024: Multiple Locations in New Jersey

This 10-week externship program at Hackensack Meridian Health in New Jersey offers nursing students hands-on experience in various medical settings. Under the guidance of registered nurses, students provide direct patient care, perform assessments, and ensure patient safety. Applicants must be enrolled in a nursing program, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Externs will profile startup companies, learn what VCs look for, and be a part of investing in the next generation of technology. The externship is unpaid. Externships are offered during the summer and take place at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, UCLA Medical Center, Santa Monica, Mattel Children's Hospital UCLA, and The Stewart and Lynda Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital at UCLA. Winter externships are offered during January and February. Externships can last from one day to one week.
