Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship - Georgetown, Washington, D.C.

Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid externship program for veterinary technician/nursing students seeking hands-on emergency medicine experience. The program focuses on honing skills such as patient care, laboratory processing, and triage in a customer-centric and employee-valued environment. Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited program, have rabies vaccination, and start the externship within six months of application. Flexibility in duration and location is provided, with mentorship from experienced veterinary technicians (VEG Veterinary Nurses).
