Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid externship program for veterinary technician/nursing students, providing hands-on experience in emergency medicine. Students work alongside experienced veterinary technicians, gaining skills in patient care, triage, and laboratory procedures. The program offers flexibility in duration and location, with a focus on fostering a supportive and employee-centric environment. Applicants must be enrolled in an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology/nursing program and vaccinated for rabies, unless exempted by their school's policy.
