Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid externship program for veterinary technician/nurse students, providing hands-on experience in emergency medicine alongside credentialed veterinary nurses. The program focuses on honing skills such as patient care, triaging cases, and collaborating in a fast-paced environment. Applicants must be enrolled in an AVMA accredited veterinary technology/nursing program and vaccinated for rabies, with externships customizable in length and location.
