Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers a Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program for vet tech/nursing students aimed at providing hands-on experience in emergency medicine. The program focuses on honing emergency skills, including patient vitals, laboratory processing, patient care, triage, and collaboration. Flexible in duration and location, the unpaid externship requires enrollment in an accredited veterinary technology/nursing program and rabies vaccination, unless exempt per school policy.
