VEG offers an unpaid Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program for AVMA-accredited veterinary technology/nursing students, providing hands-on emergency medicine experience alongside credentialed veterinary technicians. Students gain skills in patient care, triaging, and collaborating in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility in externship length and location. Rabies vaccination is required, unless exempted by the school's policy, with externship start within 6 months of application.
