Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program, providing hands-on emergency medicine experience alongside credentialed technicians. With a focus on customer and employee satisfaction, VEG aims to revolutionize emergency medicine while fostering a supportive work environment. The program offers flexibility in externship length and location, emphasizing mentorship and immersion in emergency medicine for enrolled AVMA-accredited veterinary technology/nursing students. Rabies vaccination is required, with exceptions based on school policy, and externships must commence within six months of application.
