Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid externship program for veterinary technician/nurse students enrolled in accredited programs. The program provides hands-on experience in emergency medicine, focusing on skills such as patient vitals, laboratory processing, and triage. Students have flexibility in the length and location of their externship and are supported by experienced veterinary technicians. Vaccination for rabies is required, unless exempted by the student's school policy.
