Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid externship for veterinary technician/nurse students, providing hands-on experience in emergency medicine across their US hospital locations. With a focus on fostering a supportive and employee-centric culture, VEG emphasizes providing the best experience for both customers and employees, aiming to be recognized as one of INC Magazine's Best Places to Work. Students will work alongside credentialed veterinary technicians (VEG Veterinary Nurses), honing their emergency skills and gaining experience in patient care, triage, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be enrolled in an AVMA accredited veterinary technology/nursing program and vaccinated for rabies, with flexibility in externship length and location based on school requirements and hospital availability.
