Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program for AVMA accredited vet tech/nursing students, providing hands-on experience in emergency medicine. Students gain skills in patient care, triage, and collaboration, alongside credentialed veterinary technicians. Flexibility in externship length and location is offered, with a focus on creating a supportive, employee-centric environment. Rabies vaccination is required, unless exempted by the school's policy.
