Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers a Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program for students enrolled in AVMA-accredited veterinary technology/nursing programs. This hands-on experience focuses on emergency medicine skills, including patient care, triaging, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment. The externship is unpaid, and rabies vaccinations are required, with flexibility in externship length and location choice. Applicants must be actively enrolled in a qualifying program, with externships beginning within 6 months of application.
