Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid externship program for veterinary technician/nurse students enrolled in accredited programs. This hands-on experience focuses on emergency medicine skills such as patient care, triaging, and collaboration. Students have flexibility in choosing the externship length and location, while mentorship is provided by credentialed veterinary technicians. Rabies vaccination is required, and applicants must be enrolled in an AVMA-accredited program.
