Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program aimed at AVMA-accredited veterinary technology/nursing students. The program provides hands-on emergency medicine experience with a focus on patient care, laboratory work, and triaging in a fast-paced environment. Students can choose the length and location of the externship, receiving mentorship from experienced veterinary technicians, with rabies vaccination required.
