Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers a Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program focused on hands-on emergency medicine experience for vet tech/nursing students. The program emphasizes a customer-centric approach and a supportive work environment, with a commitment to employee satisfaction. Students gain skills in emergency care, patient vitals, lab procedures, and teamwork, with flexibility in externship length and location. The externship includes pay and an opportunity to gain more hands-on experience in performing patient care duties.
