Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program for AVMA accredited vet tech/nursing students seeking hands-on emergency medicine experience. With a focus on customer satisfaction and employee well-being, VEG aims to provide a supportive, growth-oriented environment. Externs will gain skills in patient care, triage, and laboratory procedures, while enjoying flexibility in externship length and location choice. Rabies vaccination is required, unless school policy permits handling unvaccinated animals.
