Part-time faculty teaching opportunities available within DePaul University's College of Law Experiential Learning Department, focusing on externship program seminars encompassing judicial, private practice, public interest, and government externships. Required qualifications include a JD degree, active law license, demonstrated expertise in the relevant practice setting seminar, and prior teaching experience is beneficial. Candidates must showcase experience in diverse learning environments, with applications reviewed on an as-needed basis. Foreign Medical Graduate (FMG) U.S. Externships offer foreign medical students a hands-on clinical program that matches residency program requirements. It fills the experience requirement for students when they apply for a residency. The externship is different than just observing. Externships provide real, hands-on work experience for medical students. Externs will work with an attending physician and perform clinical duties such as assessing patient histories and performing physical examinations. All extern duties are done at a hospital under the supervision of a U.S. licensed attending physician.

UCLA Health Nursing Summer Externship Program offers work experience to nursing students who have completed their junior year and are entering their senior year of nursing school. The externship is unpaid. Externships are offered during the summer and take place at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, UCLA Medical Center, Santa Monica, Mattel Children's Hospital UCLA, and The Stewart and Lynda Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital at UCLA.
