Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid externship program for vet tech/nursing students, providing hands-on emergency medicine experience. Students work alongside credentialed veterinary technicians, focusing on vital skills like patient care and triaging cases. Flexibility in externship length and location is provided, with mentorship from experienced professionals. Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited vet tech/nursing program and vaccinated for rabies, with externships beginning within 6 months of application.

UCLA Health Nursing Summer Externship Program offers work experience to nursing students who have completed their junior year and are entering their senior year of nursing school. The externship is unpaid. Externships are available in the Spring, Summer and Fall for law students and throughout the year for paralegals.
