Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid externship program for veterinary technology/nursing students, providing hands-on experience in emergency medicine. The program focuses on honing skills like triaging cases, obtaining patient vitals, and collaborating in a fast-paced environment. Applicants must be enrolled in an AVMA accredited program, be rabies vaccinated, and begin their externship within 6 months of application.
