Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship - Franklin, Tennessee

Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program for students enrolled in AVMA accredited veterinary technology/nursing programs. Students gain hands-on emergency medicine experience, focusing on vital tasks like patient care, lab processing, and triage. Flexibility in location and duration is provided to accommodate school requirements, with mentorship from credentialed veterinary technicians. Rabies vaccination is required, unless exempted by school policy, and externships must commence within six months of application.
