Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program, providing hands-on experience in emergency medicine for vet tech/nursing students. The program focuses on honing emergency skills such as patient vitals, laboratory processing, and triage. Applicants must be enrolled in an AVMA accredited veterinary technology/nursing program, vaccinated for rabies, and able to begin the externship within 6 months.
