Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers a Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program for students in accredited veterinary technology/nursing programs. The program provides hands-on experience in emergency medicine alongside credentialed veterinary technicians. Students gain skills in patient care, triaging, and collaborating in a fast-paced environment. The flexible, unpaid externship allows students to choose the length and location to meet their school's requirements, with mentorship provided by experienced veterinary technicians.
