This job opportunity is for a summer Professional Nursing Assistant (PNA) program at Duke University Health System in 2024. It's open to rising junior or senior nursing students and spans from May 20 to July 28, 2024. Duties include assisting registered nurses (RNs) with patient care, such as preparing patients, administering treatments, and recording vital signs. Applicants must be registered with the North Carolina Nurse Aide Registry by May 15, 2024, and possess Basic Life Support certification. The program requires a commitment of 36-40 hours per week and offers valuable clinical experience for nursing students.
