Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an externship for veterinary technology/nursing students, focusing on emergency medicine with hands-on training alongside experienced veterinary nurses. This program aims to develop skills in patient care, laboratory processes, and emergency case management. Eligible candidates should be enrolled in an AVMA accredited program and start the externship within six months of applying, adhering to rabies vaccination requirements. VEG provides a supportive, employee-centric environment and flexibility in externship length and location. This unpaid opportunity is exclusive to vet tech/nursing students, not veterinary or veterinary assistant students.
