Ohio Nurse Associate Externship (NAE) Traditional Program offers a paid, 10-week externship for nursing students entering their final year of an ADN, BSN, or BSN/MN program, with placements available at participating Cleveland Clinic Ohio hospitals. The program requires Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and a commitment from June 3 - August 10, 2024, with externs working full-time under the supervision of RN mentors. Responsibilities include assisting with patient care, maintaining cleanliness, and personal development, with opportunities for future roles in healthcare. No prior work experience is required, but candidates must demonstrate critical thinking skills and physical capabilities for the role.
