Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid externship program for AVMA accredited veterinary technology/nursing students, providing hands-on emergency medicine experience. Students work alongside credentialed veterinary technicians (Veterinary Nurses) in a customer-centric environment. Flexibility in externship length and location is provided, with a focus on honing emergency skills such as patient care, triaging, and laboratory processing.
