VEG, a rapidly growing veterinary emergency company in the United States, offers an unpaid Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program. The program provides hands-on experience in emergency medicine for vet tech/nursing students, focusing on skills like patient care, triage, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment. Students must be enrolled in an AVMA accredited veterinary technology/nursing program, with rabies vaccination required unless exempt per school policy. Flexibility in externship length and location is offered, with mentorship provided by credentialed veterinary technicians.
