VEG, a leading emergency veterinary group across the US, offers an unpaid Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program for students enrolled in AVMA accredited programs. Students gain hands-on experience in emergency medicine, focusing on skills like patient care, laboratory processing, and triage, under the guidance of credentialed veterinary technicians. Flexibility in externship length and location is provided, with rabies vaccination required, unless exempt per school policy.
