Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program for AVMA-accredited veterinary technology/nursing students. Students gain hands-on emergency medicine experience, including patient care, triage, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment. The program emphasizes flexibility, mentorship, and a focus on immersive emergency medicine education. Rabies vaccination is required, with location and duration of externship chosen by the student to meet school requirements.
