Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program, providing hands-on emergency medicine experience to vet tech/nursing students. With a focus on customer and employee satisfaction, VEG boasts the highest NPS score in the industry and is nominated for INC Magazine's Best Places to Work. The program allows students to choose the length and location of their externship, offering mentorship from credentialed veterinary technicians (VEG Veterinary Nurses) and immersion in emergency medicine practices. The externship is unpaid.
