Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid externship program for veterinary technology/nursing students, providing hands-on emergency medicine experience alongside credentialed veterinary technicians. Students gain skills in patient care, triage, and laboratory procedures while immersed in a customer-centric and employee-valued environment. Applicants must be enrolled in an AVMA accredited program, able to start within six months, and vaccinated for rabies unless exempted by their school's policy. Flexibility in externship length and location is provided to meet individual school requirements.
