With a focus on mentorship and flexibility, students work alongside credentialed veterinary technicians (VEG Veterinary Nurses) in various hospital locations across the United States. The program emphasizes practical skills development, including patient care, triage, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment. Rabies vaccination is required, unless exempted by the student's school policy, and the externship must commence within six months of application.
