Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers a Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program for AVMA-accredited veterinary technology/nursing students, providing hands-on emergency medicine experience alongside credentialed technicians. The program focuses on honing skills such as patient vitals, laboratory sample processing, and patient care in a fast-paced environment. Externs can choose the duration and location of their externship, and rabies vaccination is required unless the school's policy permits handling unvaccinated animals.
