Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers a Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program, providing hands-on emergency medicine experience for vet tech/nursing students. With a focus on high-quality patient care and employee satisfaction, VEG aims to revolutionize emergency medicine. The program offers flexibility in externship length and location, mentorship by credentialed veterinary technicians, and full immersion in emergency medicine practices. Applicants must be enrolled in an AVMA accredited veterinary technology/nursing program and vaccinated for rabies, with externship commencement within 6 months of application.
