Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program for AVMA-accredited vet tech/nursing students, focusing on hands-on emergency medicine experience. Students work alongside credentialed veterinary technicians, gaining skills in triaging cases, patient care, and collaborating in a customer-centric environment. The program emphasizes flexibility, mentorship, and requires rabies vaccination unless exempted by school policy, aiming to provide a supportive and immersive learning experience in emergency medicine.
