Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid externship program for AVMA-accredited veterinary technology/nursing students seeking hands-on experience in emergency medicine. Students work alongside credentialed veterinary technicians (VEG Veterinary Nurses) in a customer-centric environment. The program focuses on honing emergency skills such as patient care, laboratory procedures, and triage, with flexibility in externship length and location. Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited program, vaccinated for rabies, and able to start within 6 months of application.
