Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program for AVMA accredited veterinary technology/nursing students, providing hands-on emergency medicine experience alongside credentialed veterinary technicians. Students gain skills in patient care, laboratory procedures, triage, and collaboration, with flexibility to choose externship length and location. Applicants must be enrolled in a relevant program, with rabies vaccination required, and the externship must commence within 6 months of application.
