VEG offers an unpaid Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program, providing hands-on emergency medicine experience to vet tech/nursing students alongside credentialed veterinary technicians. The program focuses on honing skills such as patient care, triage, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment. Requirements include enrollment in an AVMA accredited program, rabies vaccination, and the externship beginning within 6 months of application.
